We normally recommend opening your photo booth around the beginning of the evening party.

For many weddings, that means somewhere around the first dance.

It’s usually the sweet spot.

Your daytime guests are still there, evening guests have arrived and everyone has started relaxing into the party.

From there, the booth naturally gets busier throughout the evening.

Our setup time happens before your booked photo booth hire begins, so if you book three hours of booth time, you receive three hours of actual photo booth use — not two hours after we’ve spent an hour setting everything up.

We usually arrive approximately 60–90 minutes beforehand to prepare everything.

How Much Space Does a Photo Booth Need?

For our full photo booth setups, we normally ask for approximately 2.5m x 2.5m of space, around 2.5m of height, and access to a standard 13A electrical socket.

We’ll liaise with you or your venue regarding setup requirements before the wedding, so you don’t need to spend your wedding morning measuring walls with a tape measure.

Ansty Hall has several different wedding spaces, including The Orangery, Cedar and the historic Gilbert Scott room, so the best position for your setup will depend on how you’re using the venue for your particular celebration.
