Dumbleton Hall Wedding Photo Booth Hire

If you are searching for a Dumbleton Hall photo booth for your wedding, we can now say from experience just how beautifully one works in this venue. We recently had the honour of bringing our Retro booth to the first wedding at the newly restored Dumbleton Hall, and what an incredible first wedding it was.

Everything felt elegant, warm and full of character. The restoration is stunning, the rooms feel grand without being cold, and the whole wedding had such a lovely atmosphere that we genuinely did not want the evening to end.

Being based near Evesham, Dumbleton Hall is also one of our closest wedding venues. We are always excited to work locally, but being there for such a special moment in the venue’s new chapter made this one even more memorable.

The first wedding at the newly restored Dumbleton Hall

Dumbleton Hall reopened in 2026 following an extensive two-year restoration. The historic country house has been brought back to life while keeping all the character that makes it feel so special.

For its first wedding after reopening, the couple chose our wooden Retro photo booth with large colour prints.

The warm oak finish of the booth worked beautifully with the venue’s interiors. It felt like it belonged in the room rather than looking like a piece of modern equipment that had simply been placed there.

We used the venue’s own interior as part of the photographic setting, allowing the character of Dumbleton Hall to come through in the pictures. A separate backdrop can still be added, but this wedding proved that sometimes the venue itself is far too beautiful to cover.

A photo booth for the liveliest part of the evening

The photo booth began later in the evening, once dinner and the formal parts of the day were complete.

This timing worked brilliantly. Guests were relaxed, the party was in full swing and everyone was ready to take photographs together. The booth quickly became a place where friends and family gathered between dancing, catching up and celebrating with the couple.

Guests received large colour prints instantly, giving them a proper photograph to take home from the wedding rather than another image that might disappear into a phone gallery.

That is one of the things we love most about providing wedding photo booth hire. The photographs become part of the evening itself, but they also become physical memories that guests keep long after the wedding.

Why the Retro booth suits Dumbleton Hall

Our Retro booth is a particularly lovely match for a historic country-house venue.

It has a modern wooden design, professional camera equipment and studio lighting, so couples get beautiful photographs without introducing something that clashes with the surroundings.

For a Dumbleton Hall wedding, you can choose:

  • Colour or black-and-white photographs
  • Traditional photo strips or large prints
  • A personalised print design
  • A custom guest book
  • Props or a cleaner, prop-free experience
  • One of our backdrops or the venue’s own interior
  • An online gallery after the wedding

The Retro’s photography style is clean and flattering, which makes it suitable for both relaxed party pictures and the more polished family photographs that guests often want earlier in the evening.

You can compare the Retro with our other photo booth options if you are unsure which experience would suit your wedding best.

Styling ideas for a Dumbleton Hall wedding

The right setup will depend on your flowers, colours and the room being used.

Using the venue wall can create a simple and elegant setup while allowing Dumbleton Hall’s restored interiors to remain visible.

For a timeless look, a plain white backdrop with black-and-white photographs would work beautifully. This creates the soft, polished style often associated with our black-and-white glam photo booth.

Ivory drapes would complement a romantic, neutral wedding, while burgundy drapes could look incredible for an autumn or winter celebration.

Champagne, gold or white-and-gold sequins would add something brighter for an evening reception or Christmas wedding.

You can see the available colours and styles in our photo booth backdrop collection.

We are also very happy to look at photographs of your room, flowers and other styling before recommending a setup. Sometimes the simplest option is the one that suits a venue best.

More than photographs on a screen

Every guest who uses the Retro receives an instant professional print during the event.

The print design can be personalised with your names, wedding date, colours or another detail from your invitations and stationery. Depending on the chosen package, duplicate copies can also be added to a guest book for friends and family to leave messages beside their photographs.

By the end of the evening, the couple has a book filled with photographs and messages from the people who celebrated with them.

The full gallery is also supplied after the wedding, so you can see all the pictures your guests created while you were busy dancing, talking and enjoying the rest of your evening.

Planning the photo booth setup

Our usual photo booth setup requires approximately 2.5 metres by 2.5 metres, a ceiling height of around 2.5 metres and access to one standard 13-amp socket.

We normally arrive around 60 to 90 minutes before the agreed start time. This gives us time to unload, assemble and test everything before guests begin using the booth. Setup time is included and does not reduce your booked photo booth hours.

Because we have now worked at Dumbleton Hall, we have first-hand experience of the venue and can help plan the booth position and photographic background.
