We recently had the pleasure of providing charity event entertainment at the stunning Matara Centre – a serene venue surrounded by nature, tucked away in the Cotswolds. The occasion was a lively charity ball, and we were thrilled to bring along The Icon, our premium open-air photo booth.
It was a night filled with fun, purpose, and non-stop photo action – all in support of a fantastic cause.
A Creative Setup in a Unique Venue for a Charity Event Entertainment
The Matara Centre’s indoor greenery and calm, natural aesthetic gave us the perfect opportunity to get a little creative. We incorporated some of the venue’s lush plant life into our booth setup, blending nature with our classic black sequin backdrop – a favourite choice for formal and corporate events.
Guests absolutely loved the setup. The Icon was in full swing all evening, with prints flying, digital sharing on the go, and queues of happy guests ready for their moment in front of the camera.
Fully Branded for the Event
For this event, we took customisation to the next level. Both the print design and The Icon’s rear display screen were fully branded to match the charity ball’s posters and marketing materials. We even played a looping video on the back screen that echoed the event’s visuals and theme – creating a truly immersive, polished experience.

A Fantastic Result for Two Worthy Charities
